Ériu Ltd ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our services. Company registration is in progress; this notice will be updated with the CRO number on completion.
The site itself is hosted on Netlify. Netlify logs server-side data (IP address, browser, page requested, timestamp) for security and abuse-prevention purposes. We don't run any third-party analytics or tracking by default — see the cookies notice.
We collect: your name, email, company (optional), phone (optional), enquiry topic, the message you write, and the IP address from which you submit. We log this information in a Google Sheet that only Niall O'Hara has access to. Lawful basis: legitimate interest (responding to a business enquiry you initiated) and your consent (the checkbox you tick on the form).
For active engagements we additionally collect contact details, billing information, and any technical or business data you share with us in the course of the engagement (e.g. system logs, network diagrams, user account lists). Lawful basis: contract performance.
We share data only with the minimum number of vendors needed to run the business. Today that's:
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data with anyone. Period.
Some of our processors (Netlify, Google) operate infrastructure in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
Under GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct it, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, and request portability. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
If you're not happy with how we handled a request, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission: www.dataprotection.ie.
This site and our services are aimed at businesses. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
If we make material changes we'll update the date at the top and, for active clients, send a notification.
