02 — Approach

Why it works
differently here.

"Fix the boring problems quietly. Most IT issues aren't dramatic — they're recurring and small. Stop them returning and the dramatic ones get rare."
Principle 01Operational discipline
"Charge the same every month. If your IT bill spikes when something breaks, your provider has the wrong incentive. Fixed fee, both ways."
Principle 02Aligned incentives
"Tell you when something's not worth doing. The valuable part of any IT engagement is the "no" — the project we talked you out of. That's where the saving lives."
Principle 03Honest advisory
"Plain English, no theatre. No 60-page proposals, no bingo-card jargon. Plain reports you can hand to a non-technical board member and they'll get it."
Principle 04Communication

04 — Personal

A bit about me.
Briefly.

Niall O'Hara

Founder · Skerries, Co. Dublin

Born and raised in Ireland. Lived and worked in Berlin for the better part of a decade — most recently at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg before moving back to be closer to family.

Outside of work: writing fiction, cycling around the north Dublin coast, and the slow-burn project of learning Spanish properly. Father to a Berlin-based daughter, which is why I split my time across both cities and care a lot about reliable remote-work setups.

If you're a Dublin business owner who's been burned by IT providers before — or you've outgrown your current setup — that's exactly who Ériu is built for. Drop a line and let's talk.
